The Society & College of Radiographers (SCoR) faced declining membership numbers due to an outdated website and limited self-service options.
By partnering with us for a comprehensive digital transformation, SCoR not only revitalized member engagement, but also garnered two Kentico Site of the Year Awards.
SCoR's legacy content management system (CMS) was no longer supported, leading to member frustration over the lack of self-service capabilities.
The fragmented digital infrastructure hindered user experience and contributed to a decline in membership.
Additionally, aligning diverse internal stakeholders from both the Society and the College, each with separate identities and leadership teams, posed a significant challenge in achieving a unified digital strategy.
We initiated a thorough discovery phase, conducting workshops with key teams - including education, practitioner support, membership success, and sales and marketing - to understand their needs and internal processes.
This collaborative effort allowed us to map out comprehensive user journeys, encompassing all touchpoints to inform user experience design. We then migrated SCoR from their outdated Drupal CMS to Kentico Xperience (DXP), providing enhanced content editing capabilities and extensive marketing functionalities such as content personalization, email marketing, and analytics.
The website underwent a full redesign, optimized based on member feedback, to be both member-centric and mobile-friendly.
The digital transformation led to a 615% increase in new membership registrations and a 31% rise in website visitors. Search engine optimization performance improved by 74%, enhancing online visibility.
The project received industry recognition with two Kentico Site of the Year Awards.
Members now benefit from a seamless online experience, with the ability to manage their memberships through a single sign-on system that integrates various platforms, including the website, CPD portal, extranet, and event management system.
